Starting Pay $29.00 The Recruiting Specialist works under the supervision of the Recruiting Manager to source and attract top talent that builds and maintains a skilled workforce with the goal of securing stable employment for people disabilities. The objective is to ensure qualified candidates are hired to support program and operational needs. This position networks with industry contacts, partners with local organizations and businesses, and participates in recruiting events. The Recruiting Specialist will handle sensitive employee and company information and must represent Didlake to the public with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Implements day-to-day recruiting activities to ensure a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Partners with local businesses and organizations (e.g., job placement agencies, nonprofits, churches, and community centers) conduct outreach, host interviews and attend hiring events.
- Conduct an intake meeting with the Hiring Manager at the time of posting to understand the candidate's profile, role requirements, and key qualifications needed for a successful hire.
- Partner with hiring managers by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and using the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress and apply appropriate disposition codes.
- Contacts applicants regarding employment opportunities, and conduct an initial screening, assists candidates with disabilities through the application and hiring process.
- Promotes Didlake's employment opportunities to internal and external potential applicants through various channels and sources.
- Maintains ongoing communication with hiring managers regarding open positions and candidate status.
- Assists with administrative and clerical tasks, including filing, data entry, and report generation related to recruiting efforts.
- Responds to employment verification requests and shares authorized personnel information with external agencies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Participates in HR projects and recruitment-related initiatives as assigned.
