About This Position
Pay: This is a base plus bonus position with a first year estimate being around $175K. Travel: This position will require you to travel 50%-60% of the time. Location: This position will be handling a region including the states of MI, NC, OH, TN and WV. Responsible for food service sales within the assigned territory. You will interface with all customers to identify and maximize opportunities within the territory. You will develop and maintain business relationships with multiple contacts within each correctional organization at county and state levels. You will work with internal customers in a vast number of departments. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Grow profitable revenue through selling of new accounts for food services. Meet set EBITDA goals for territory.
- Proactively call on those involved in the buying process for correctional facilities, develop relationships and identify the needs of customers.
- Manage territory, opportunities and activities using Salesforce.
- Visit customers, attend pre-bids and quarterback and manage RFP process in its entirety.
- Develop strategies for establishing successful partnerships and business relationships for Food Service.
- Develop, implement, and oversee business plan(s) to profitably build Trinity Services Group sales.
- Manage and participate in all correctional industry trade shows within territory and national shows when necessary.
- Work closely with Regional and District operations to help grow profitable market share.
- Provide support to upper management and operations team in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence and other business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- At least two (2) years sales experience.
- Experience in effective oral and written communications.
- Experience in reading & understanding an RFP. Making sales calls and supporting key initiatives in the pursuit of new business and the retention of current business.
- Computer Skills.
- Travel fluctuates based on customer visits, pre-bid meetings and tradeshows and averages 50-60% annually.
- Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to reason and make sound business decisions and business recommendations.
- Must be service oriented, with working knowledge of government contracts, bid and RFP process. Food Service experience and/or knowledge of the correctional industry highly desirable, but not required.
- Demonstrated, strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to focus on the development of new business and the expansion of existing business.
- Ability to manage in compliance with established policies and procedures as well as regulations.
- Ability to use Salesforce for daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
- Ability to effectively present information to management, clients, associates and regulatory agencies.
