DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Office of the Chancellor at UC Santa Cruz oversees the administration of the university, leads large-scale initiatives, and sets the vision and goals for the university. Office members collaborate consistently with other senior leaders and teams from across the university to align policy and practice with university goals and to support the mission of the university. More information about Office of the Chancellor can be found at: https://chancelor.ucsc.edu JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager in the Office of the Chancellor provides high-level project management and policy analysis support on a range of issues related to the work of the Chancellor, compliance with the Clery Act, and in collaboration with other senior leaders. The Project Manager will be responsible for analyzing internal and external data to support decision-making, supporting and leading workgroups and committees focused on specific issues, maintaining internal documentation that furthers collaboration and accountability across offices and divisions, stewarding projects with campus-wide impact, and supporting and contributing to strategic work to support the university's goals and mission. APPOINTMENT INFORMATION Budgeted Salary: $71,600 - $90,000. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience. Benefits Level Eligibility: Full benefits Schedule Information:
