SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing the leadership necessary to improve site operations in the areas of safety, environmental, quality, cost and productivity through increased asset reliability with direct responsibility for reliability engineers and reliability technicians. Key areas of responsibility include management and mentoring of the site reliability engineers, reliability KPI development and monitoring, understanding of the maintenance work management system, technical support during unit turnarounds, assist in maintenance cost analysis and development of 5 year major maintenance and capital plans, stationary equipment inspection group, and manage the site's mechanical integrity program. This person will interface between operations, maintenance, craft maintenance groups and the project engineering group. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES May include, but are not limited to, the following:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Additionally, this position must make general decisions requiring judgement and perform activities requiring sustained concentration. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is sometimes moderate when working inside, however, some of the work may be required in the operating units which mandates usage of required PPE and safety equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs.
