Revit Technician

RK&K is seeking a Revit Technician for our Richmond, VA office to support Water/Wastewater Design projects.

Essential Functions

• Develop computer-generated models based on direction and engineering sketches; preparation of contract drawings and color renderings; maintain adherence to company and client standards and procedures
• Support project research, drawing preparation, organizing project files, drafts design plans and details
• Use computer-aided modeling software to develop layouts, drawings and designs that meet engineering specifications
• Supports engineers and designers of all disciplines through a variety of tasks including proposal drawings, red marks, and sketches
• Interact with engineers and designers to quickly and accurately update/correct models during design process
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Review engineering drawings, analyze design and retrieve information to complete model, drawing, layout or design
• Use detail drawing or engineering specifications to dimension, scale or line locate
• Possess thorough understanding and efficiency with company modeling and drafting standards

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents and apply drafting/modeling techniques to project tasks
• Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups
• Must understand basic geometry/trigonometry
• Must be detail oriented and able to follow QA/QC procedures
