Regional Sales Manager - Machine Tool Builders

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director - Motor Vehicle Industry, you'll lead the charge in developing strong customer relationships and expanding Atlas Copco's presence across your territory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with automotive manufacturers and suppliers to drive sustainable, profitable growth.

  • Account Development: Grow existing accounts and generate new business across our full product and service portfolio.

  • Business Planning: Create and execute strategic business plans using tools like Salesforce and Power BI.

  • Sales Execution: Manage the sales process from prospecting through close to ensure success against targets.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Act as a trusted advisor by responding quickly, solving problems, and ensuring high satisfaction.

  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align sales efforts with broader company initiatives.

  • Innovation: Champion the launch of new products and solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Market Insight: Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and provide product feedback to marketing.

To succeed, you will need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
  • Sales Experience: Relevant sales experience (e.g. territory growth, account management or business development) with consistent KPI's preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and technical understanding required to engage with customers effectively.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region, including both domestic and international trips to support sales meetings, client engagement, and business forecasting activities; overnight travel may also be required based on business needs.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong communication skills with experience in product demonstrations a plus.
