YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE We are looking for a Research Project Coordinator in 1945 Fremont Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 USA. Your mission will be to:
Collaborate with the dietary supplements sales team to prepare technical proposals and quotes for client research projects. Ensure proper welcoming and on-boarding process of clients in a consistent, professional, and timely manner for all research services. Accountable for accurate account setup including programs and testing information in the laboratory information management system (LIMS) / and any other system set ups critical to customer management. Provide support to operations to ensure that the research scientist's protocol transitions smoothly into the laboratory. Schedule studies with operations and communicate to the client. Assist with last minute scheduling issues that deviate from the expected. Send final reports to the client. Communicate clearly with research scientists and clients at all phases of study. Contact customers with information regarding project initiation dates, study results that will be late or to clarify information about samples received at the testing laboratory. Answer customer phone and e-mail inquiries (including internal clients), identify customer requirements, provide results and additional information that meets or exceeds the customer's expectation, and follow up with solutions. Monitor ongoing shelf life studies and address any issues or deviations promptly. Track commitments to clients and communicate compliance to the management team including % on time delivery (OTD). Review revenue and invoicing on a bi-monthly basis and submit for corporate reports. Evaluate invoicing and claims periodically through each study. Assist with communication and resolution of billing issues. Assist in customer complaint handling and investigation of customer complaints in accordance with company Quality policy and SOPs. This position has the responsibilities and authority to identify departures from the quality systems or procedures and document in accordance with SOPs in the global complaint system. Lead a post study review to share strengths and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide exceptional customer service while following Merieux NutriSciences policies and best practices. Build and maintain productive collaborative relationships across the organization to effectively support the customer. Participate in annual training certification to maintain working knowledge of tools required to perform the job; not limited to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), CRM, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Set up, calibrate, and operate environmental chambers used for the research projects. Support corporate quality and proactively participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the department. Other related duties as assigned. At any time, the incumbent must behave and operate in an ethical and Code of Conduct compliant manner.
YOUR PROFILE
Education Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or related field This position requires knowledge in food science, typically obtained from a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry to fully understand the complexity of the services provided by the company. Strong knowledge of project tracking is helpful in presenting information to clients. Strong customer service experience is needed to provide excellent experiences where our clients will return to us and recommend us to others. Experience in food safety, food processing or food quality assurance is recommended to identify with the concerns and challenges of clients and potential clients. Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products are essential for performing duties. Good organizational skills are essential to effectively carry out assigned tasks. Strong interpersonal communication skills are critical in order to promote company services and programs, identify and respond to clients and potential client's needs, and to build professional relationships. This position must have a working knowledge of Microsoft programs in order to provide necessary information to company leaders and clients in various formats. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
