Understand and adhere to all safety procedures and code requirements. Consistently work in a safe, responsible manner and actively participate in safety-related programs. Perform work in compliance with company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies. Actively participate as a work group team member and maintain a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees. Complete paperwork and reports related to equipment maintenance accurately and completely.
Core Job Duties:
Responds to equipment malfunction, physical damage and/or fire, vandalism and/or threats to properly handle emergency situations to safeguard life and property. Must be familiar with the application of relevant procedures. Implements all lock out/tag out procedures as they apply to the job functions to ensure personnel safety. Completes reports accurately and completely and has a working knowledge of applicable local filing systems as required. Consistently work in a safe, responsible manner and actively participate in safety-related programs. Obtains training as required to maintain qualifications. Responding to one call requests and ensuring the safety of the pipeline by accurately locating, and observing third party activities in accordance with company procedures. Support location needs such as mowing, bush-hogging, weed-eating, general housekeeping duties. Utilizes proper procedures for ordering, receiving and transferring materials as well as performing physical inventory. Reviews and interprets drawings, sketches and as-builts.
Level-Specific Accountabilities:
This role has no formal supervisory responsibility Performs other duties as required and as qualified for, which may include tasks in electrical controls, equipment operation, measurement, telecommunications, mechanical technician, and operations technician roles, depending on business needs and operational requirements.
Required:
A high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license. Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel and Word. Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honesty, and openness are valued. Proven ability to drive and perform job duties safely. Innovative problem solver without compromising SOPs. Willing to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues.

Working Conditions:
Primarily field-oriented (outdoor) with specific office (indoor) functions for training, meetings, and documentation of required tasks dictated by the Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply. Must be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions. Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call & standby, and travel overnight as required. Currently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location. Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to Grasping, kneeling, light-moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read the fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility can ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet, legs, and/or hands and arms.
