Responsibilities:



  • Design and develop system architectures, including hardware, software, and network components, to meet specific requirements and ensure system integration
  • Responsible for Sustainment, Modernization, and Life Cycle Support of joint data analysis systems
  • Create and manage system models to enhance understanding, communication, and integration of complex systems
  • Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
  • May also design network and computer security measures.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality
  • May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
  • Document system specific modularity and interoperability between systems platforms
  • Perform market research, prior work discovery, and mitigate capability gaps of industry offerings in the maritime sensing domain. Specifically, identifying platforms that a modular/user configurable
  • Collaboration with the client and vendors to further enhance the overall project
  • Work location: Customer site, National Capital Region (NCR)


Required Qualifications



  • DoD Secret or Higher Security Clearance
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) and professional license (as applicable for the relevant field of study) preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs in a Senior System Analyst role, preferred joint programs experience
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering modeling software i.e. Cameo, Capella, Magic Draw
  • Knowledge of DoDAF for resolving interoperability operational challenges
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, and the self-motivation to improve skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in various networking paradigms such as mesh, point-to-point, hub/spoke, software-defined networking, named data networking, and IP stack
  • Systems Integration: Expertise in integrating various system components and technologies to create cohesive, functional systems that meet business needs
  • Testing and Validation: Skills in developing and executing test plans to validate system functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements
  • Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools to support system design, development, and lifecycle management. Proficient in creating and managing system models to enhance understanding, communication, and integration of complex systems
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering and Life Cycle Management Tools. i.e. Doors, Cameo, Team Center, Windchill, MATLAB, STK


Salary: $150K+ to align with education and experience
