Leasing Representative

We are seeking a Leasing Representative to join our regional office located in Boca Raton, Florida. This person will identify and close small shop leasing deals (new & renewal) under the direction of others. Effectively source new deals through canvasing and/or utilization of lead generating platforms. Successfully implement Regency standard leasing procedures. Be willing to ask questions, learn quickly, and work well with multiple internal departments.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Identifies qualified prospects to lease and occupy available space in new and existing shopping centers/developments. Networks with current/new tenant prospects and retail brokers.
• Renews existing tenants' leases to achieve maximum revenues while improving or maintaining tenant retention and satisfaction. Complete renewal checklist and occupancy cost spreadsheet.
• Generates production/activity reports through Deal Connect, receives feedback and on-the-job training education. Prepares strategic plans, abstracts leases, and works on marketing strategies with marketing department to better merchandise the assigned portfolio. Shadow deal makers in the office/field.
• Leases new vacant space.

Are You Qualified?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Real Estate from an accredited university
• Real estate salesperson license
• 1 to 3 years of experience in real estate leasing, property management, or related field
• Knowledge of local real estate market and local broker/landlord community
• Basic knowledge of the retail leasing industry and of lease or sales contract terminology
• Tests at introductory level proficiency on Microsoft Office software, email and internet research functionality
• Understands P&L statements, credit reports and balance sheet information
• Willing to learn new technology as it evolves in the industry (i.e. AI Integration)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish are preferred
