Compensation Range:$82,500-$105,000 Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose As a result of our continuing growth, Alpha Technologies Services Inc (an EnerSys company), has an opportunity for a dynamic Demand Planner to join our Demand Planning Team in one of the following locations: Bellingham (WA) or Suwannee (GA). Being a key member of the Demand Planning team, the Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Demand Plan using analytics and business intelligence in collaboration with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Operations and Finance. As a key facilitator of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, the Demand Planner will consider all stages of the Product Life Cycle from product introduction, through commercialization and end of life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyze product portfolio to determine the best forecasting method for each product Gather and analyze the forecast from sales representatives and sales directors Assist sales management in verifying and validating the sales forecast Combine the input from Sales with statistical forecasts to determine the total forecast for the portfolio Participate in demand and supply analysis to identify supply constraints and suggest risk mitigation actions Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Operations in identifying new and declining products and optimize supply pipeline consistent with the market demand Develop and maintain demand planning tools and ensure accuracy of the forecast Lead SIOP meetings with key stakeholders to build consensus on demand/supply Present proposed demand plan and recommended actions to key stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or Science and/or Master in Business Administration Minimum of 7 years experience in supply chain management, especially forecasting and demand planning, preferably in medium to large companies in manufacturing industry Experienced with ERP software and MRP preferably using SAP and/or Infor Syteline High proficiency in MS Excel Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact comfortably with different levels within the organization Experience with MS Power BI and/or other Business Intelligence tools is a plus Certified by APICS (CPIM) or IBF (CPF) is an asset General Job Requirements This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
