Location:Oldsmar, FL (34677) Job ID: #71327 Pay Range: $19-28 2nd Shift3:30 PM-2:00 AM Mon-Thurs with OT on the weekends Candidates must take and pass a medical screening exam Open to US Citizens & US Permanent Residents ***Requires IPC 610, IPC 620 or J-STD soldering experience, IPC-620 certification not requiredto know what a good Solder looks like, will not be Soldering THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. Summary of Cable Inspector Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. Uses various measuring devices. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. - Candidate has a strong background in the manufacturing process of Cables Inspections. - Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed. - MUST have experience with Soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards. - ***Requires IPC 610, IPC 620 or J-STD soldering experience, IPC-620 certification not requiredto know what a good Solder looks like, will not be Soldering - Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. - A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. - Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues. - Proficient with Personal Computers. - No Degree Required - Candidates must take and pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide. - Candidates must be able to read/write English - Hours are 3:30 PM-2:00 AM Mon-Thurs with OT on the weekends ***Requires IPC 610, IPC 620 or J-STD soldering experience, IPC-620 certification not requiredto know what a good Solder looks like, will not be Soldering Benefits provided:401K,medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.
