Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) offers transportation services like FTL (Full
Truckload), LTL (Less Than Truckload), brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting Maersk or Customer warehouses or depots or cross-dock/consolidation/deconsolidation facilities through a robust network led by best-in-class operations and technology. This integrated network will service multi-channels like B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e-commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset-based, asset-light, and non-asset models.
In close collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner, drive financial performance management with Product heads with guidance and support on financial metrics, business performance and implementation of strategies/projects.
- Tracks month-to-date financial performance to inform revenue weekly forecast for MGF Product
- Creates SFDC reporting by product to enable business decisions by leaders, creates and reviews conversion metrics and analytics
- Provides risks and opportunities as it relates to specific customers with market driven trends
- Creates monthly financial reporting packages
- Assists in populating monthly MOS deck
- Updates pricing template for new deal support
- Assists Sr FBP and FBP team on various ad hoc projects
- Daily financial position reporting and full month forecasting to assist stakeholders in real-time decision making.
- Provide risks and opportunities to product leads
- Supports the regional business stakeholders to deliver on their accountabilities
- Ability to analyze company performance versus ROFO
- Ability to use discretion/judgement to make choices and commitments on behalf of the company
- Drive intense performance management with MGFE Product and Commercial Team
- Weekly Business Reviews with Product and Commercial Team
- Month-end customer forecasting
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Advanced or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Quantitative experience of related activity
- JL4: 6-8 years of experience
- Financial analysis capabilities
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Creative thinking/problem solving
- Communication skills to be able to talk to stakeholders with various backgrounds/level of understanding financials
