A day in the life:

This position is responsible for transaction of material deliveries into the inventory control system.

Position details:

Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Hourly rate of $23.24

What you'll be doing:

  • Administer and adhere to all company receiving practices, policies, and procedures
  • Receive all supplies and material from outside vendors
  • Inspect incoming shipments for an accurate accountability of material and quantities ordered
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and reject accordingly to policy
  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as necessary
  • Document and scan all related shipping materials
  • Ship components using outside vendors
  • Prepare discrepancy reports
  • Communicate and interface with multiple departments
  • Conduct and report accurate cycle counts
  • Operate a forklift in rack storage
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

  • High energy and positive attitude is a must
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred qualifications:

  • College coursework or a college degree is a plus but not a requirement.
  • 1 to 3 years work purchasing and/or inventory control experience within an industrial setting.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, SAP preferred
  • Computer literacy is preferred.
  • Experience in forklift operation preferred.

*Time is accrued per pay period and based on an 8-hour shift
