Interstate Power Systems in Lakeville, Minnesota, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager with expertise in Fixed Operations, Parts Departments, Power Generation, and/or Heavy-Duty Diesel industries to lead our team.
Base Salary: $70,000-$100,000 annually DOE, plus monthly and quarterly incentives.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel technology, operations management, and team leadership to grow our business.
Responsibilities:
Oversee service and sales operations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Enhance operational systems, processes, and best practices.
Manage material purchasing, inventory planning, and warehouse efficiency.
Ensure legal compliance in all operations.
Develop strategic and operational objectives.
Analyze financial data to improve profitability.
Manage budgets and financial forecasts.
Implement quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
Improve customer service quality.
Skills and Qualities:
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to leverage location strengths for business growth.
Proficient in profit and loss statements, budgeting, and inventory control.
Proven experience in service, sales, or business ownership.
Strong understanding of profitability, customer service, sales, and marketing.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to collaborate with Service and Sales Teams.
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Familiarity with business and financial principles.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Proven managerial experience with employee and process management.
Extensive sales experience in Power Generation (preferred but not required).
Robust operations background.
