Description

    Taking on the role of Logistician/Material Coordinator, responsible for effectively managing and tracking government materials
  • Working on site; no remote or telework authorized

Requirements

  • Experience with DoD inventory standards, Navy preferred
  • Experience with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation) compliance, processes and audits
  • Experience conducting inventory management of GFE (Government Furnished Material)
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in inventory management and conducting inventories
  • A minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and system life-cycle support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System
    • Experience can be obtained concurrently
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods in non-climate-controlled warehouses
  • Ability to work independently conducting inventory check on GFE
  • Ability to construct and submit official reports
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret DoD clearance
  • High school diploma or GED


Desired Skills

  • Ability to train and mentor teammates on practices required to maintain compliance with Navy FIAR standards
  • Direct experience working and communicating with government leads during execution of audits and inspections


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
