Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions, a Taylor Company, is looking for a Full-Time Packer/Hand Inserting to work at our Fort Worth facility location.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Inspect printed check materials to make sure pages are in order and free of defects.

  • Verify the quality of products as they are produced and prior to packing. Call any quality problems/issues to the attention of the lead or Supervisor in charge.

  • Perform hand assembly tasks including inserting pages and applying labels.

  • Pack, stack, tray and transport materials on carts as needed.

  • Be someone that can work well with your team and someone that is reliable.

  • Prepare cartons and pack labels to keep up with the daily demand of processing checks.

  • Ensure that specified carton counts are met and that numbered check forms are packed according to instructions as well as by shipping routes and or the delivery location.

  • Check that labels all match the job run and job instructions.

  • Learn basic functions of the computer equipment so as to be able to perform well.

  • Inspect and rework any returned product as necessary.

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

Shifts Available: 11am - 7pm (Monday-Friday)

You Must Have:

  • Great attention to detail and be able to check your work for errors

  • Ability to follow strict procedures and written instructions, and apply new methods

  • Good verbal communication skills and a willingness to speak up

  • Ability to perform physical requirements (standing/sitting for most of the shift, being able to lift up to 25 pounds consistently, and limited time away from the workstation)

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions working with your hands and wrist

  • Ability to train, learn and operate computer scanners, UPS & FedEx label printers and other production equipment

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication

Requirements within this position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information with your team.

  • Regularly required to be flexible with scheduling to complete all daily check volumes.

  • Constantly operate and handle printed check materials with care and diligence.

  • Frequently required to move from different workstations and areas within the facility.

  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Quality Control background and very organized around work

  • Leadership ability or past leadership experience as a Team Lead
