FOX is seeking a Solutions Architect on our AdRise Integrations team. In this role, you will work closely with our video player, product, data and engineering, and revenue and strategy teams, representing the technical monetization architecture for ad tech at FOX. You'll be a critical part of an influential team, and will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of a major player in the entertainment and news industry.

Location for this role is hybrid, in NYC or LA metro areas, or fully remote, with occasional travel to NYC.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as subject matter expert for existing relationships with product, engineering and video player teams to represent advertising business and technical requirements

  • Recommend, build and maintain an advertising architecture on behalf of the internal businesses for video monetization

  • Main point of escalation for troubleshooting - includes pulling ad requests, running Charles/Proxyman sessions, etc.

  • Monitor and analyze data to proactively identify gaps across ad enabled endpoints, and communicate issues and resolutions back to business stakeholders

  • Maintain relationships and support integrations with distribution partners and platforms such as Roku, Amazon, Samsung, etc.

  • Act as additional support for all team initiatives including technical setup and testing/QA of potential ad products, programmatic or audience initiatives, certification of 3rd party vendors, improvements to the ad stack and support of Freewheel, Google Ad Manager and Operative

  • Identify and document process and workflow improvements for Ad Tech

  • Rotating on call support for product launches, as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3-5+ years of experience in video advertising, product integration, ad tech or operations

  • Knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and components of an ad stack, from OMS to Reporting

  • Fluency with ad serving technologies, including FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager, Programmatic vendors, 3rd party technologies

  • Experience and aptitude with Ads QA and troubleshooting tools and process

  • Knowledge of the multiple players in the TV distribution landscape

  • Prior exposure to workflow and ticketing systems like Jira and Confluence

  • Experience in 3rd party tags including VAST, VPAID, HTML, Javascript, etc

  • Ability to keep competing projects on track and communicate with multiple stakeholders across many levels with minimal guidance

  • Experience with SSAI and an understanding of video streaming technologies like HLS

  • Able to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language

  • Confident, self-starter mentality

  • Proactive, collaborative approach to problem solving

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience with Google Ad Manager

  • Familiarity with SQL and Python (or other programming languages)

  • Experience working in ad tech for a Local TV programmer or a DTC streamer

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-149,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
