Research Data Analyst Neurology Full Time 85625BR Job Summary **This is a limited appointment scheduled to end on 8/1/2026 Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced research professional with a full understanding of in-depth statistical analyses and / or research software programming techniques. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $87,900 - $126,900 (Annual Rate). The incumbent will contribute on one or more projects in the lab to develop data acquisition and analysis pipelines for specific scientific questions and funded collaborative efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related area and minimum three years of experience or equivalent experience / training. Thorough knowledge of research function. Thorough skills associated with quantitative biology and data analysis. Thorough skills in scientific programming and consultation. Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. Skills in project management. Research skills at a level to evaluate alternate solutions and develop recommendations. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training. Coursework or a degree in biological sciences preferred.
