Position Summary

DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) is seeking an Sr Manager, Ops Deployment Strategy to own and drive strategic infrastructure for frontline operational leadership. This role is critical in aligning leaders, tools, and performance insights across the organization to enable clinical excellence and operational effectiveness. The role requires strong systems thinking, cross-functional coordination, and experience in leadership enablement, data-informed performance management, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with leaders across Clinical Transformation, People Services, and Air Traffic Control (ATC) to ensure that care team leadership is set up for success to execute our most critical strategic initiatives.

Team Summary

This position will sit on a broader Operations Deployment team that collectively maintains DaVita IKC's release schedules and ensures initiatives are deployed with coordination and consistency. This team serves as trusted advisors to both centralized business teams and operations as they help ensure that projects are prepared for launch and that operators are prepared to absorb them into their day-to-day routines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership Enablement Strategy

Define and refine role expectations and success criteria for IKC Nurse Practitioner Managers, Regional Operations Managers, and Regional Operations Supervisors.

  • Management Processes

Partner with Chief of Staff to the COO to define and standardize operational management process expectations for care team leadership. Implement the best user-friendly, systems-driven solutions (e.g., Microsoft Planner, ClickUp, Asana) to drive care team leader adherence (and make it easy to adapt!) to process.

  • Forum Design & Governance

Design and own leadership management forums in coordination with the ATC team. Ensure consistency in communication, prioritization, and branding across operational teams.

  • Tool & Framework Development

Develop and maintain toolkits and tracking mechanisms to support leadership performance and initiative adoption. In close partnership with IKC Reporting and Analytics team, create systems to assess and promote operational excellence (tools, reporting, adoption, insight generation).

  • Performance Enablement

Partner with IKC People Services to establish competency frameworks for:

  • Metric and reporting literacy

  • Tool and resource utilization

  • Initiative uptake and sustainability

  • Teammate performance insights and translation into action

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a thought partner and internal consultant between clinical leadership, operations, People Services, and ATC to enhance care team leadership role clarity, development, and enablement.

Collaborate with Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and Care Coordinator Role Leads on model of care to ensure buy-in. Define how initiatives impact care team leadership roles and drive decision-making focused on long-term, sustainable change.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (MBA, MHA, or related).

    • 7+ years in healthcare operations, leadership enablement, strategy, or performance improvement roles

    • Strong strategic planning, systems thinking, and organizational design skills.

    • Exceptional communication and executive facilitation abilities.

    • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, Smartsheet, or similar strategic planning tools.

    • 5+ years of experience leading patient-facing care teammates a plus

Preferred Credentials:

  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) or organizational development credentials

  • Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner a plus

Key Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and systems-building skills

  • Experience designing leadership development infrastructure or performance frameworks

  • Excellent facilitation and communication abilities

  • Comfortable driving initiatives across multiple teams and senior leadership

  • Proficient in tools like Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, or similar platforms

  • Ability to translate complex information into clear operational guidance

Salary/ Wage Range

$100,100.00-$147,000.00 / year If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
* New York Exempt:
*New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year
*Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year
*Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year
New York Non-exempt:
*New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour
*Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour
*Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour
Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year
Washington Non-exempt:
*Bellingham: $17.66/hour
*Burien: $21.16/hour
*Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
*Renton: $20.90/hour
*Seattle: $20.76/hour
*Tukwila: $21.10/hour
*Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
