Description

The IDEAL Program Coordinator will provide administrative support for the IDEAL director, as well as general program support in the areas of admissions, events, social media, and office management.



  • Manage admissions applications each year for both Summer Academy and the program
  • Collaborate with admissions to manage SLATE applications
  • Track correspondence with prospective students
  • Schedule and lead tours with prospective families and school groups
  • Coordinate invitations to experience day and meet n greets
  • Schedule enrollment and person centered planning meetings
  • Manage summer academy applications process
  • Represent IDEAL at campus and community events for recruiting purposes (i.e., transition fairs)
  • Oversee IDEAL's social media sites (Instagram, Facebook)
  • Create and manage a social media plan to increase visibility, recruitment, and showcase the program
  • Develop marketing and event materials for recruitment and development purposes
  • Keep marketing materials and website up to date with input from director
  • Create and disseminate monthly newsletter with input from team
  • Coordinate annual 5k
  • Serve on IDEAL Giving Day Team
  • Organize and manage logistics (room reservations, catering, emails, RSVPS, etc,) for other events such as Summer Academy, Graduation, Resource fair, Info night, and others as needed
  • Lead alumni support program
  • Maintain alumni database and regular correspondence
  • Maintain alumni Facebook page
  • Coordinate alumni events (at least 1 per quarter)
  • Manage IDEAL email
  • Order and maintain supplies
  • Track purchases and manage credit card receipts for monthly expenditure reports
  • Experience with students with intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Help team as needed with daily support of students included but not limited to daily check ins, covering classes, supporting field trips, etc.
  • Comfort with excel, google, Canva, Instagram
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Professional and pleasant attitude with positive judgment in interactions with students, faculty, and staff
  • Strong speaking, writing, communication, and organization skills
