Nurse Supervisor - Outpatient

AllHealth Network is currently looking for a qualified Nurse Supervisor to lead our Outpatient team. We are looking for a leader who can support the growth of this program. As a team we strive every day to nurture growth and recovery by caring for each other, our clients, and our future.

Pay Rate:

$90,000 - 105,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives as well as a generous benefits package detailed below.

Job Description:

Nurse Supervisor - Outpatient

Oversee and direct the day to day clinical operations and client flow in AllHealth Medication Clinics: Ensure effective, efficient clinic functions; implement policies & procedures to attain the goals and objectives of the clinics; provide pertinent information and recommendations to the Nurse Manager; provide training and direct supervision to the nursing team to ensure excellent nursing care that supports the delivery of optimal behavioral health treatment services in order to improve care delivery and health outcomes.



  • Mentor, train, and onboard new nursing staff on outpatient procedures, charting requirements, and best practices.
  • Assist with documentation monitoring and chart audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Provide nursing coverage as needed at all outpatient offices including outlying offices
  • Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies using a calm, trauma-informed approach.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and managers as needed to ensure coordinated, comprehensive services are provided to clients
  • Coordinate nursing schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all outpatient sites.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Care Manager (MCM) supervisor to promote positive culture among nursing team
  • Provide direct supervision and performance feedback to outpatient nursing staff, addressing productivity, quality, and adherence to policies to ensure excellent service provision.
  • Address staff performance and productivity concerns promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of nursing staff.
  • Conduct monthly staff rounding and assist with organizing staff meetings and annual competency trainings.
  • Consistently interact with internal and external staff/clients/customers with professionalism, respect, and dignity even in difficult situations
  • Promote positive culture of collaboration within AllHealth Network emphasizing team based care.
  • Track and ensure accurate, comprehensive and timely completion of all clinical and administrative documentation by supervised staff including but not limited to case reviews, peer reviews, critical incident reports, and timesheets
  • Actively participate and contribute within a team-based model of care to ensure integration of services and promote improved client outcomes.
  • Ensure that clinical nursing services consistently meet agency goals and regulatory expectations.
  • Communicate effectively, support a culture of collaboration within AllHealth Network, and act as a liaison between internal and external providers for care coordination and integration of care.
  • Work positively and cohesively as a member of the Medication Services team to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of our clients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to strengthen nursing practices and improve client outcomes.
  • Ensure an environment that fosters growth and development and recognizes individual achievement
  • Work to resolve problems with supervisees' performance and/or productivity; Document supervision/corrective actions within expected time frames
  • Take initiative to correct problems or concerns, instituting temporary measures if necessary while seeking permanent solutions within scope of authority
  • Follow organizational policies and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
  • Complete all required trainings (Relias, Power DMS, Q Stream) within established timelines.
  • Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.



Qualifications:



  • BSN required
  • Must hold current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse


  • AllHealth Network does not employ former or current clients or family members of clients receiving treatment at any AllHealth Network facilities


  • At least three years of experience in the psychiatric mental health field with 1 year supervisory or leadership experience preferred.



Skills/Knowledge:



  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage staff performance.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with specific ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with other professionals at all levels of authority
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced level of clinical skills in working with individuals of all ages with behavioral health issues
