Introduction to the role:

We are seeking a Factory Controller to manage the financial activities of our EUV manufacturing plant. The EUV Factory Controller is responsible for developing and implementing financial procedures, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and driving improvements of financial performance the in factory. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can quickly identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to maximize efficiency.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the activities of direct staff and indirect team members/stakeholders across matrix organization
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective action
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements
  • Develop and maintain operational and financial controls
  • Prepare and manage annual budget and forecast
  • Coordinate and review internal/external audit activities
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Experience in transactional execution and data extraction with SAP and/or other large ERP systems required
  • 7+ years of experience in operations financial management preferred
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis specific to operations standard costing, labor rate development, efficiency metrics and non-financial KPI development and tracking
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles, standard costing, and internal controls specific to COGS management, capex and opex planning, production and labor variances, and allocating groups

Other Information:

This position is located on-site in San Diego, CA . It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, training courses and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch
  • Occasionally required to move around the campus
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • May require travel dependent on business needs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$129,000-215,000

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
