What you'll be doing...

You will support the AVP-Home Base Marketing in coordinating across the Home base management team to ensure marketing programs are documented and sufficient to achieve our goals and objectives. As an operator, implementer, integrator, advisor and strategist, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the AVP. The selected candidate will be an integral part of the Home Base Management team, play a key role in navigating complex business and management challenges, and collaborate across a variety of business partners. You will be responsible for supporting the AVP but also leading a wide variety of functions including strategic planning, financial management, executive advisory, executive support, and project management. This role is focused on driving outcomes across the organization using a combination of consulting practices and systematic workflows to drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning specific projects on behalf of the AVP, working across organizations and business units to deliver recommendations the organization can execute effectively.

  • Performing the necessary analysis and providing recommendations on a course of action using the strategic thinking processes.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the AVP and assist in facilitating effective decision making.

  • Participating in key meetings in conjunction with or on behalf of the AVP to provide directional insight and work with key stakeholders within and outside the organization to drive initiatives.

  • Providing operational readiness, maximizing time and efficiency by integrating cohesion and alignment while inspiring and engaging, presentation creation, and implement governance.

  • Building an operational process to manage all aspects of Financial Planning and Management inclusive of Operational Expense, Capital Expense and Resource Management.

  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver business-impacting initiatives while providing analysis and routine updates to senior leadership teams.

  • Working closely with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, identify risk mitigation strategies, and drive successful product launches.

  • Building positive client relationships during projects, assess the needs of the organization, identify customer requirements, and develop cohesive projects that improve the culture and operations of the business through more effective programs and events.

  • Driving employee engagement to drive a positive employee experience and ensure alignment with the organization's goals. Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Developing intentional communications and narrative development to ensure transparency throughout the organization.

  • Leading a team of professionals across business operations, portfolio management, and financial management functions.

You are able to lead meetings with senior staff, track action items, and push deliverables to completion.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience with and understanding of the financial planning and management process.

  • Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

  • Strong presentation skills including creating content and associated backup materials.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Experience delivering executive level presentations.

  • Experience working alongside senior leaders.

  • Ability to motivate and influence teams to deliver outcomes and results.

Where you'll be working

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $136,500.00 - $238,000.00.
