Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced Crane Operator for our manufacturing team in our Dudley Lumber Mill

Our team creates value by safely assisting with the production of quality lumber for our valued customers.


What You Will Do

  • Safely operate crane to unload incoming log trucks while working from elevated heights
  • Ensure environmental events are communicated quickly and clean up procedures are followed
  • Ensure inventory is correctly stacked and rotated as expected
  • Ensure check sheets are filled out timely; escalate issues through the proper leaders

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • A minimum of one (1) year safely heavy machinery in an industrial environment
  • Experience in an advanced operator role, above utility/general labor level
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Sawmill process knowledge
  • Experience operating a Crane
