About the Role

EUSA is creating a brand-new leadership role: Senior Director of University Partnerships (U.S.). This role will lead our U.S. based university partnership strategy, team, and growth. It will oversee all new partner outreach, continue stewardship systems for current university clients, and serve as a key member of EUSA's management team. The position will be responsible for building strategy and structure from the ground up, while managing and motivating a small, seasoned team. This is a highly visible role with the autonomy to drive U.S. institutional strategy in alignment with EUSA's global mission.

Key Responsibilities

    Develop and execute a national partnership development strategy for U.S. colleges and universities
  • Manage and lead the U.S. based team (including a current Director and Senior Manager)
  • Build systems and processes to steward, expand, and retain existing university partners
  • Build new high-impact institutional relationships
  • Represent EUSA at industry conferences, campus visits, and in presentations to deans, provosts, and study abroad offices
  • Monitor KPIs and manage toward strategic goals, including pipeline metrics, partnership activation, and team performance
  • Collaborate with global colleagues in Europe to align U.S. university priorities with programming and placements
  • Lead budgeting and resource planning for outreach, travel, and marketing activities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in higher education, business development, or program leadership/partnerships
  • Previous team leadership and performance management experience
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, relationship development, and partner stewardship
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across internal and external audiences
  • Data fluency: comfort with setting, tracking, and reporting on KPIs
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and budgeting tools
  • Highly collaborative, energetic, and organized
  • Comfortable traveling monthly to client institutions (Boston, NY, Texas, etc.) and internationally 2-3 times per year (London, Prague)

Anticipated total compensation up to $150,000, based on experience and location.

Location: Remote (U.S. based) with monthly travel to client institutions (Boston, NY, Texas, etc.) and internationally 2 - 3 times per year (London, Prague)
