Position Summary |
This is a research assistant position which will provide aid for research studies involving pregnancy. Specifically, this position will be working specifically for the PTBCARE+ study designed to test the efficacy of our 3-tier, personalized, multifaceted stress reduction program,
UNC PTBCARE+, on perceived stress and resilience, gene expression changes and allostatic index, and rates of preterm birth. This research position would aid in screening for potential participants, data entry for the study, and study website development. In addition, the will aid the clinical research coordinators in project planning and implementation. Data collection and attention to detail are extremely important, as are communication skills. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Some experience working in research in a healthcare setting, exposure to obstetric practice preferred, REDCap data entry and experience with
EPIC required. Attention to detail is extremely important, as are communication skills. |
