Summary: The Vice President of Operations, FRS NA, is responsible for leading operational strategy, execution, and performance across all sites. This role drives results through a strong focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery-while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance. The ideal candidate brings digital acumen, a disruptive mindset, and the ability to lead transformation that aligns with the company's strategic goals. Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with FRS executive leadership to develop and meet company goals, providing expertise and strategic guidance on operations projects, systems and organizational direction.
- Champions a strong, values-driven culture focused on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Establishes, implements and communicates the strategic direction of the FRS North America organization's operations, aligning efforts with broader division goals.
- Plans, directs, and monitors budgets and costs across operating units to achieve financial goals and performance targets.
- Ensure all operating unit decisions and projects are aligned with the overall division goals and objectives.
- Fosters a culture of change-readiness and continuous improvement, promoting agile thinking and a disruptive mindset to challenge the status quo.
- Drives operational excellence through proactive identification of opportunities, execution of innovative solutions, and removal of roadblocks that impact performance.
- Provides development opportunities to team members to build a strong talent pipeline within the organization.
- Collaborates cross-functionally and globally to drive alignment, share best practices, and ensure operational cohesion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in senior level operations leadership, preferably in a complex, manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading digital transformation and embracing Industry 4.0 technologies to streamline and modernize operations.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability ti influence across levels and functions.
- Strategic thinker with a disruptive mindset, with the ability to challenge traditional ways of working and unlock innovation. Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of building engaged, accountable, and high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, project management, and decision-making skills: able to prioritize effectively and lead cultural transformation initiatives.
