Instructional Systems Design (ISD) - Senior

Position Summary

DarkStar Intelligence, LLC is seeking Senior Instructional Systems Designers (ISD) supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency's (DIA) Academy for Defense Intelligence (ADI) located at DIA HQ Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, DC.Our Senior ISD shall create classroom course materials that support field-driven performance shortfalls, overseeing and creating course content, and researching, implementing, and evaluating training. This includes, but is not limited to, instructional systems design and documentation, storyboards, narrative scripts, graphics, tests, and scenario props. All designs shall adhere to the standards set by the Council on Occupational Education, as well as ADI instructional design policies and procedures.

Clearance Level: TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborating on training plans and blended learning implementation strategies
  • Provide quality assurance and peer reviews on design plans and instructional materials
  • Create professional-level presentation materials
  • Regularly participate in meetings requiring close interactions with various project stakeholders
  • Perform needs and/or gap analysis to determine training needs
  • Track work and schedules to ensure work is completed within scheduling parameters
  • Produce quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Minimum Qualifications
  • TS/SCI Required (CI poly preferred: Must be able to obtain)
  • Minimum of 10 years ofexperience working with DoD training programs; Master's Degree will be considered in lieu of 5 years of experience
  • Expert knowledge of DoD processes and terminology
  • BA/BS is required
Salary Range:
$125,000 - $140,000
This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary. When extending an offer, DarkStar Intelligence considers various factors, including (but not limited to) the job's responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data alignment, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), and other relevant laws.
