Job Title: Traction Test Laboratory Engineer

Job Location: West Mifflin, PA

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Define and implement the most appropriate device (test bench) in accordance with Validation Test requirements and within the costs time and pass-fail criterion set for the test. Produce a technical file for every technical deliverable. Guarantee the functionality of the devices and perform potential troubleshooting of bench. Specify and design Tests Benches (Hard and Soft) for investigation or validation activities in the Traction Scope. Specify and design devices for CAPEX requirements. Manage Test Bench production (support for realization) and the commissioning and receipt of the Test Bench. Define Electrical schematics and BOM. Ensure that the hardware design can be manufactured, tested and repaired. Support hardware validation of products and related documentation for IEC, CSA and CE certifications.

Up to 20% travel required (domestic and international). May work at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Traction Test Laboratory Engineer-related occupation.
