Warehouse Forklift Driver

Staffmark is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Forklift Driver to join our growing team in Covington, GA. In this role, you'll operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and store goods safely and efficiently in a warehouse or construction environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure smooth warehouse operations and accurate inventory management.

Pay Rate: $16/hour

Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and industrial equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers
• Transport materials to designated storage areas
• Stack, store, and organize products in compliance with safety protocols
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Assist with inventory counts and data entry as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet operational goals

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification/license (OSHA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and operations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
• Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime when required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
