The analyst will support the development and evaluation of advanced radar capabilities to improve joint operational effectiveness in contested environments. Required Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of HF radar system operations, capabilities, and limitations
- Knowledge of ionospheric propagation, modeling, and assessment processes
- Familiarity with radar parameter optimization and ionospheric effects on HF performance
- Awareness of operational challenges faced by HF radar operators
- Knowledge of electronic warfare (EW) operations, capabilities, and limitations
- Understanding of electromagnetic spectrum concepts, EMS technologies, aircraft EW detection and countermeasures
- Familiarity with A2/AD strategies and adversary capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience monitoring and copying external HF communications
- Familiarity with global command and control station (GCCS) terminals
- Experience with RF measurement devices (e.g., spectrum analyzers, RF power meters)
- Previous involvement in joint or operational test and evaluation efforts
