Description
General responsibilities include * Knowledge of ocean/air documents, customs forms, and regulations a must. * Preparing packing and shipping documents, including preparation of shipping containers and packaging for domestic and international shipments utilizing UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, LTL carriers. * Completion of all outbound shipping documentation both Domestic and International (Commercial Invoice, BOL, USMCA) * Packaging of large systems (wooden crates) using overhead hoist. Ensure shipments are accurate and free from damage * Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to small forklift and pallet jack, to move inventory * Kit products on time per schedule to assemble and shop floor * Accountable for overall cleanliness/organization of the shipping area * Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly. * Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list. * Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow. * Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments and serving internal customers. * Works with Supply Chain manager on all continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives for the department. General Requirements: * Associates degree and three to five years of relevant warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally, up to 75 lbs * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English * Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Strong work ethic-team player * Excellent organizational skills * Strong computer skills * Knowledge of proper safety measures.
