National Grid is hiring a Senior Environmental Scientist - Environmental Licensing & Permitting, New England. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to our Waltham, MA locations Job Purpose
Be part of a team that manages environmental permitting for complex substation and transmission projects from the initial option selection through design, construction, and restoration. You'll be developing permit strategies, minimizing environmental impact and progressing permitting to meet project schedules for multiple projects at one time. During construction, you'll work to ensure compliance with permit conditions and applicable regulatory requirements No two days are the same and you'll be proactively supporting the environment in our day-to-day operations.
