Required Skills * 2-4 years of experience in Network Reliability/Operations with data domain expertise * Firmware Upgrade experience on a network Config pushes from Azure experience across all industries helpful * CCNA/CCNP is helpful in this environment * Strong Protocol Knowledge in the following: MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, * IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VxLAN and EVPN Description We want to pull resources with the specific skills set of firmware upgrades and config from Azure teams. We're looking for more on data domain experts, who has done similar work in other companies to fast track the delivery. A good network engineer with basic architecture understanding, focused on upgrades, specifically firmware on the networks. Cloud is not necessary, and neither is enterprise scale. Use and contribute to procedures and tools to develop and safely execute network changes. Develop solutions for support team members to act on network failure conditions. Collaborate with network vendor technical account team and quality assurance team to drive bug resolution and assist with qualification of new firmware and/or operating systems. Manage and Perform Firmware upgrades and configuration refreshes. Strong knowledge of protocols and services such as MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VxLAN and EVPN. Extensive experience with scripting or automation and data center design - Python preferred but must demonstrate expertise in scripting or compiled language. Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and SSL. Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions. Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment. Experience working in a network operations role. Network Reliability Engineer (NRE) is primarily focused on applying an engineering approach to measure and automate a network's reliability to align with Organization's service-level objectives, agreements, and goals. The duties of the NRE team entail promptly responding to network disruptions, pinpointing the underlying cause, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to fully restore functionality. Experience in other ISP or Cloud environments at the enterprise level is helpful but not required. This is onsite 5 days per week in either Seattle: Seattle - 1301 2nd street - has a $20/day parking fee that Oracle does not cover Hours are 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. in their respective time zones. He looks at resumes, he wants to see expertise in the core skill set. More diverse it gets he questions what you vs the team did. So we need specific call outs of what the candidate worked on, not just what the team worked on . The manager will be reviewing resumes and looking at - Network experience across multiple domains. BGP experience is important! Consultants will do queries and look at dashboards, looking for changes to inner layers and being diligent with the detail and focus. They will do changes in the line environment, live, that could impact the customer so it's important they pay close attention to details. Need to remain operationally focused. As in, focused on KPI's and SLA's and what's impacting those items for each customer. Will have code access and this is why they need to be onsite 5 days a week. They cannot access the same code remotely. Experience Level Mid-Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
