Responsibilities

Arcfield is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead technical capability insertion and maturation. Candidate will interface with customers, mission partners, and other teammates to integrate new capabilities into baseline. Define, create, and mature system initialization plans and tasks; oversee execution and manage implementation schedule. Lead and mentor team of mid-level and junior-level engineers. Conduct analysis on system performance, data collection, predictive modelling, and requirement satisfaction. Build dynamic reporting methods using collaboration and/or visualization tools. Provide reports and executive presentations on status; to include satisfaction, challenges, and closure plans.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • 12-15 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 10-13 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science or similar technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience related to Responsibilities listed above.
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills. Ability to effectively summarize, report, and present detailed technical topics for executive status.
  • Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in user outreach, familiarity activities and community forums.
  • Understand the systems engineering life cycle.

Desired:

  • Perform project management required for integrating, testing, and evaluating complex technical systems.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring of system performance over time and respond to anomalous mission behaviors.
  • Experience and current competence developing/modifying engineering code in multiple of Python, MATLAB, Perl, Java, C, C++, or R.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
