Facility Operations Managers ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operations of in our blending facilities. They provide direct management of facility employees and are accountable for fostering a team environment through effective and appropriate communication. They are responsible for maintaining all standards in accordance with safety, quality, inventory, and productivity levels as well as providing leadership to meet facility goals and objectives.
The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Facility #794397, located at: USA CA Sacramento Facility 4397.
Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.
- Oversee blending operations
- Implement operational policies and procedures
- Ensure effective and safe use of equipment
- Meet production goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees
- Manage facility inventory levels and conduct physical inventory reviews on a regular basis
- Lead facility's blend management and production planning efforts
- Create schedules and monitor staffing
- Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Conduct regular communication meetings with workforce
- Assist in placing and following up on purchases from outside vendors per established policy
- Complete facility administration
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9002 guidelines and requirements
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects
- Assist with daily bank deposits
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program
Preferred Qualifications
- Have at least two (2) years of work experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations
- Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and/or Outlook)
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
- Have work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management ("CRM") systems
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: (TIME SPENT AWAY FROM HOME OR OTHER TYPICAL OFFICE LOCATION)
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
