Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Executive University Director of Enrollment Services for University Enrollment Services.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Provides vision and leadership in the development and implementation of a comprehensive enrollment services for the University.
  • Provides oversight and coordination between the offices of Enrollment Services, which includes Undergraduate Admissions processing center, Graduate Admissions, University Financial Aid processing center, and the University Registrar, to ensure delivery of quality services to all constituents, including prospective, current, and former students and faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Provides leadership for business analysis and process improvements for Enrollment and Student Finance.
  • Makes independent policy and procedural decisions in the absence of the Associate University Vice President of Enrollment Services.
  • Contributes to the development of effective policies and procedures related to student enrollment services and enrollment-related functions university wide.
  • Fosters collaboration within enrollment services and across the university campuses to support multiple enrollment management teams.
  • Builds and leads a financial aid, undergraduate, and graduate admissions processing and business analysis team that meets the needs of prospective and current students through efficient, high-quality operations and proactive communication with students and partners across the institution regarding enrollment services operations.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Master's Degree.
  • Minimum of ten years of direct financial aid, registrar, student finance, or admissions experience at the associate's level or above.

Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of and have experience in a large, complex, multi-campus environment.
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Proficiency using automated financial aid systems.
  • Functional knowledge of student accounting and billing.
  • Experience as a senior level manager in a higher education setting.
  • Superior organizational and planning skills.
