This opportunity is in the Insurance Underwriting department

The Insurance Underwriting Department offers a culture of empowerment to produce results and resolve clients' issues. Role Description:

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for underwriting complex risks and building strong broker relationships? As a Large Casualty - Regional Underwriting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the profitability and growth of our Large Casualty book within your assigned territory. You will champion our newly developed multi-line underwriting capabilities, working closely with brokers to deliver compelling solutions for large deductible accounts. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and underwriting new and renewal business, assessing risk exposures, and determining appropriate pricing and coverage structures. You'll collaborate across departments-including Actuarial, Legal, and Claims-to ensure seamless service delivery, while also acting as a local face of the Large Casualty Group at industry events and client meetings. Qualifications:

Education:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Field underwriting production experience with a proven track record of high performance
• 5 or more years of experience in large deductible/national account underwriting and sales

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership ability with strong organizational, communication, and mentoring skills
• Strong business acumen and ability to use data to support underwriting decisions
• CPCU designation is a plus

The target base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $194,500 Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
