Our client, a forward-moving construction firm in Anaheim, is seeking a seasoned Labor & Compliance Specialist to champion their commitment to regulatory excellence. What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee labor compliance for public works and prevailing wage projects, ensuring full adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports, Davis-Bacon wage determinations, and related documentation.
• Conduct thorough on-site audits, labor classification reviews, and employee verification checks.
• Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures across all construction projects.
• Train field and office staff on labor regulations, reporting standards, and documentation best practices.
• Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies (e.g., DOL, DIR) during audits or requests.
• Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to maintain accurate employee data and records.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in construction labor compliance, certified payroll, or related roles in the industry.
• Deep knowledge of One-Time forms (DAS 140, DAS 142), Prevailing Wage, DIR requirements and Certified Payroll
• Bilingual in Spanish/English required
• Proven history of managing successful audits or investigations.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse teams and maintain trust under pressure.
