What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Title Specialist to join our North America Trade-in and Used Vehicle team. This team is responsible for the overall business focused on the intake, refurbishment, and resale of all used Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles. We are a team that constantly challenges the status quo to revolutionize the trade-in and used vehicle purchase experience. As a Title Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all trade-in/used vehicle titles are transferred from customers to Tesla in a quick and compliant manner. You will be responsible for executing unique vehicle title transfers for all 50 states, organizing then processing all incoming titles/documents for the NA market, auditing all documents for action/defects, applying for duplicate titles/corrected/branded titles with the state DMVs, and resolving more complex title issues as they arise. In addition to high-volume administrative processing, you will also support internal communication and coordination tasks with other support teams to resolve any blockers in the title transfer process. This will require you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to speak confidently, and navigate ambiguous problems with ease and minimum oversight.
