Job title: HR Coordinator - Business Integration and Field


Reports to: Senior Director of HR, Field & Acquisition


Position Location: Cincinnati, OH (onsite)

Job Objective: The HR Coordinator is a hands-on, dynamic role responsible for onboarding new associates during company acquisitions. This role blends tactical HRIS and payroll system work with associate engagement to deliver a seamless onboarding experience. Core responsibilities include timely and accurate new hire entry, ongoing maintenance in the HRIS system, completion of all onboarding tasks, and active engagement with new hires and the integration team throughout the process. The HR Coordinator works closely with the Field Human Resources team to support employee lifecycle tasks and creates a positive associate experience through proactive communication and engagement.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location, size and operation.



  • Process acquisition related new hires in the HRIS system.
  • Assist with verifying and managing the Form I-9 process within federal government regulations for all new acquisition associates.
  • Work within established deadlines for onboarding tasks, assuring excellence in product work while meeting regulatory timelines.
  • Provide onboarding communication in partnership with Integration HR & Operations teams.
  • Maintain associate electronic filing system.
  • Process associate status changes in the HRIS system and maintain a high level of integrity and consistency (pay changes, manager changes, position changes etc.).
  • Process acquisition associate terminations (sending exit letter, exit interview, IT user request form, termination notice, payroll system termination, final pay info)
  • Assist with administering and reporting surveys at regular intervals after an acquisition to gauge employee engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the integration team to refine HR related integration tasks and meet nuances of each acquisition.
  • Ensure that all company policies, procedures, and appropriate governmental regulations are communicated and adhered to, with irregularities appropriately handled.
  • Manage Labor Law posters for each location, ensuring they are always up to date and compliant.
  • Deliver onboarding orientation in person and virtually for newly hired associates, communicating our benefits and policies in an informative manner.
  • Support new hires in becoming a productive RelaDyne associate by providing a welcoming and informative new hire experience and ongoing engagement through regular communication and follow up, answering questions, assisting with systems and process navigation.
  • Partner with HR Field team to support projects related to onboarding, engagement, and HR service delivery.



Other:



  • Always represent the company in a professional manner ensuring quality customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Travel up to 5% of the time to acquisition sites, with additional travel possible to support larger acquisitions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Minimum education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent related and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum experience: 2+ years of Human Resource administrative support experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required
  • Familiarity with employee benefits and the ability to communicate information to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time to support new acquisition onboarding.
  • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team, communicating in person, via email, across virtual platforms, and on the phone.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
  • High level of patience with the ability to anticipate and identify potential issues.
  • Familiarity with progressive HR programs, processes, and practices.
  • Proficient and adaptable in using current workplace technology and relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capable of handling difficult, sensitive, and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Collaborative team player with an aptitude for problem solving and process improvement.
