Could you be the full-time onsite Buyer in New Castle, DE, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring supplier selection, negotiation, and project execution align with Alstom's QCDT objectives, driving excellence in supplier relationships and commodity strategies. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality, and project management), monitor procurement project evolution, and support supplier performance development-and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Setting up a full supplier selection process,



  • Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers,



  • Leading project negotiations,



  • Monitoring Procurement project QCDT and legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development),



  • Ensuring work package sheet commitment is respected,



  • Preparing Business Awards,



  • Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct,



  • Ensuring on-time delivery and quality, especially during the ramp-up phase of the project,



  • Supporting global and specific supplier panel relationships, including negotiations and performance management"

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field ,



  • Experience or understanding of purchasing, procurement, or supplier management ,
