Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

Major/Essential Functions


  • Works closely with supervisors to facilitate test administrations for all exams, including special accommodations, make-up exams, distance exams, Texas Commission of Fire Protection exams, and other exams as assigned.
  • Provides support to the Program Manager for the Accommodated testing program and assumes responsibilities in the Program Manager's absence as needed.
  • Maintain test security and ensure confidentiality of student and patron records.
  • Organize student documents ensuring information received is accurate and complete and communicating with students and professors as needed.
  • Work on reports, attend outreach events, or other additional duties as assigned by supervisors. Must experienced and proficient in all Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Integral in maintaining excellent customer service and communication as the first line of contact for the office. Requires a high level of accuracy in communication with people over the phone, through email, and in person.
  • Attends trainings as needed to maintain testing credentials and employee requirements as set by the University and the testing companies.
  • Collaboratively supervise front-office operations and security outside of standard testing hours as needed, particularly during final exam periods which occur in May and December. Overtime is required during these times.
  • Responsible for reporting data collected through Raider Success Hub to supervisors on a daily basis. Attend trainings as needed to stay apprised of the most current use of the website.
  • Assist with assembly, distribution, collection, and return of test materials of all testing programs with Academic Testing. May proctor exams as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience of standard testing protocols.
