Business Analysis & Quality Assurance Manager (Business Analysis, Manager)

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Business Analysis & Quality Assurance Manager, (Business Analysis, Manager) to support a Federal Government client in Charleston, SC. The role will be responsible for leading the analysis, documentation and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle for the different compensation systems, leading and performing quality assurance testing, in addition to analyzing and reporting the information necessary to support software releases through the project lifecycle.

This position currently requires a full on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leading and conducting detailed business analysis to identify the business needs of stakeholders and to develop solutions for ongoing or one-time operational issues.
• Interact with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and translate them into operational improvements and software system requirements.
• Understanding of regulatory expectations for computerized systems and ability to provide quality oversight and guidance to IT teams.
• Designing and implementing advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements
• Translating business needs elicited through user groups, interviews, regulatory research as well as other means into technical requirements and helping guide the design of technology solutions
• Playing a key role in the testing and roll-out of new software or technology solutions
• Develop and execute test plans ensuring business requirements are satisfied through documented results.
• Act as a liaison between software development team and project stakeholders.
• Provide product management deliverables to aid the project manager and team in establishing shared expectations for a successful project.
• Perform routine monitoring activities and report on the status of the project across all pertinent lifecycle phases and at significant milestones.

Required Qualifications

• 6 years' experience with software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support) or prior experience with project management
• Proven experience in presenting business and technical solutions to project stakeholders.
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with payroll and/or time and attendance systems
• PeopleSoft applications (North American, Global)
• Experience with query (SQL) development
• Experience in software testing

Education

BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $102,842.00 - $154,264.00 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
