Position Title: Manufacturing QA Technician Work Location: Waukegan Road, North Chicago, IL 60064 Assignment Duration: 6 months with possible extension Work Schedule: 3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Work Arrangement: On-site Position Summary: Perform inspecting, sampling, and physical testing of work-in-process and final packaged products per appropriate product specification. Qualifications: High School Diploma required. A good understanding of basic math and clerical skills is required. 2+ years of overall work experience. 2+ Experience in a manufacturing/finishing environment is desired. Previous knowledge of GMP regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products is desired. Purpose: Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position. Perform inspecting, sampling, and physical testing of work-in process and final packaged products per appropriate product specification. Responsibilities: Responsible for performing routine testing on in-process and finished product in accordance with approved specifications and procedures. Responsible for supporting Operations efforts in meeting established production schedule. Reports problems in a timely and accurate manner. Seeks additional guidance or advice when problem is beyond scope of training or knowledge.
