This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide technical support and sustainment of classified network platforms in a high-security Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record supporting SIPR and JWICS systems with strong expertise in networking and virtualization technologies.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Network Engineer: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Network Engineer Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot secure DoD networks including SIPR and JWICS platforms.
  • Support virtualization solutions and apply networking principles across Wide Area and Local Area Networks (WAN/LAN).
  • Implement and manage routing protocols and network topologies.
  • Conduct diagnostics and apply resolution techniques for network performance and availability issues.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD configuration management and security protocols.
  • Test, validate, and document network device configurations and changes.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to support secure communications and system operations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Network Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • At least 5 years of experience (within the last 10 years) maintaining and supporting DoD SIPR and JWICS environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with virtualization, routing protocols, WAN/LAN, network topologies, and network device configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting practices and configuration management.
  • Security+ CE certification.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Familiarity with STIGs, RMF, and DISA standards.
  • Experience working in high-tempo, mission-critical DoD environments.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
