Job Description Summary

Enterprise seeks a Maryland-based experienced events professional to provide temporary event support focused primarily on managing logistics for groundbreakings and grand openings, with additional support across other events as needed. Working under the direction and guidance of the Enterprise Events Team, this position will ensure seamless execution of event logistics and vendor coordination while maintaining Enterprise's high standards of quality and stakeholder service.

Currently, four grand openings are scheduled to take place between September and November 2025. Additional events may be added.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Priority Focus: Groundbreakings and Grand Openings

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for groundbreakings and grand opening events, including but not limited to:
    • Site visits and layout planning
    • Equipment and furniture rentals
    • Tents, staging, A/V coordination
    • Catering arrangements
    • Decor and signage coordination
    • Guest list support and on-site check-in
    • Run-of-show preparation
    • On-site event day management
  • Source, manage, and serve as day-to-day point of contact for vendors and staff on all activities related to the event
  • Serve as day-of contact for vendors and staff to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track and report on event-related budgets and expenses.

Secondary Support (Other Events as Assigned):

  • Assist with vendor procurement by gathering quotes and availability information.
  • Coordinate event-related purchases, submit and track invoices.
  • Track and report on event-related budgets and expenses.
  • Provide general logistical support to the Events Team for other internal or external events as assigned.

Expectations

  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise's centralized Events Team, taking direction and prioritization from Enterprise staff.
  • Maintain excellent communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Represent Enterprise professionally to all partners, vendors, and guests.
  • Adhere to Enterprise branding, accessibility, and quality standards in event execution.
  • Provide reliable documentation and reporting of tasks completed, expenses tracked, and vendor interactions.

Deliverables

  • Detailed logistics plans and run-of-show documents for assigned events.
  • Accurate tracking of vendors, quotes, invoices, and expenses.
  • On-site event management as scheduled.
  • Weekly status updates to Enterprise Events Team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event logistics or production, with a strong emphasis on outdoor events, ceremonies, or construction-industry events preferred.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex, detail-heavy event setups.
  • Excellent vendor management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while taking direction from Enterprise staff.
  • Comfort with budget tracking and basic financial documentation.
  • Flexibility to work event hours including early mornings or occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or mission-driven events is a plus.

The base hourly rate for this role is $45/hour to $50/hour depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
