General Summary of Position Location: MedStar St Mary's Hospital Status: Full-time, 40-hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (some weekends required) Under the direction of the Community Health Program Coordinator the bus driver will provide transportation services for patients and community members along a pre-authorized route through the Community Health Program. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Transports patients and community members along pre-authorized route through the Health Enterprise Zone. Assists passengers in loading or disembarking when necessary. Maintains the vehicle in good condition. Coordinates and takes the vehicle for scheduled servicing. Provides excellent customer service. Minimum Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required Licenses and Certifications CDL - Group B - Commercial Drivers License Valid Commercial Driving License (CDL), Class B and airbrakes in the State of Maryland with no current points assigned to Driver's License required and Personal knowledge of neighborhoods within St. Mary's County, as shown by residency in the area required This position has a hiring range of $18.00 - $28.73
