We're actively seeking a talented (Contract)Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role can be either remote or onsite in one of our office locations in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha NE.

As a (Contract)Talent Acquisition Sourcer, you'll move Pacific Life forward by identifying and engaging high-quality candidates across key functions to support our growing hiring needs. This is a fast-paced, collaborative opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building strong talent pipelines.

Contract Length:6 months, with potential for extension
Reports To:Director, Talent Attraction

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Review resumes of inbound applicants + proactively source passive candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, internal databases, and networking.
  • Screen inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and interest as needed.
  • Engage and nurture talent pools for current and future openings.
  • Provide a best-in-class candidate experience through timely communication and a consultative approach.
  • Maintain market intelligence on industry trends and competitor movements.
  • Collaborate on diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive outreach.

The experience you bring:

  • 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience, preferably in a high-volume or specialized environment.
  • Proven ability to find and engage passive talent across various platforms.
  • Familiarity with ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience sourcing within a financial services corporate environment a plus.

Please note: This is a contract/temporary position and is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, or retirement plans. Although, benefits may be provided through a third party payroll service provider. Employment will be on a short-term basis and will conclude at the end of the assignment period unless otherwise communicated.

Compensation: This temporary position offers a competitive hourly pay rate (between $30 and $60 per hour) based on experience, location and role requirements. Compensation will be managed through a third party payroll service provider.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
